The Zotye T300 is a compact crossover SUV manufactured by Zotye Automobiles from 2016 to 2021, and is currently making a comeback. The Zotye T300 was launched in Egypt in 2019 and continued until 2020. The Zotye T300 was the cheapest SUV, with prices ranging between EGP 220,000 and EGP 230,000 at the time of its introduction in Egypt. The price increased to EGP 280,000 in 2020. The manual version was priced at EGP 220,000, while the automatic version was priced at EGP 230,000, up from EGP 275,000 for the first time. The car was introduced in Egypt to meet the local market's demand for SUVs, whose prices are below EGP 250,000. The car is offered with a 150,000 km or five-year warranty, meaning some cars are still under warranty.

Starting with the exterior of the 2022 Zotye T300, the front fascia features a stylish grille, LED headlights, daytime running lights, and front fog lights. The sides feature 17-inch wheels, body-colored door handles, black wheel rims, roof rails, and body-colored side mirrors with turn signals. The exterior dimensions are 440.5 cm long, 183 cm wide, 166.5 cm high, and a 261 cm wheelbase.

The Zotye T300 is offered in Egypt with a 1.5-liter, four-cylinder engine that produces 112 hp at 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 143 Nm at 4,000 rpm.

The car achieves a fuel consumption of 8.4 liters per 100 km, with a top speed of 180 km/h. It has a choice of a 5-speed manual or CVT automatic transmission, and the fuel tank capacity is 48 liters.

The car's fuel consumption is considered fairly average, which is appropriate for this class of SUV. The car's performance is good, but it's designed for traditional family driving, not sports performance. The 112 horsepower comes with a smooth, traditional CVT automatic or manual transmission that doesn't cause any problems. The Mitsubishi engine is well-known for its traditional nature, which achieves the car's purpose and provides appropriate traditional performance.

The car comfortably seats five passengers, with adequate interior space in the front and rear, making it a good family car, though not the largest, as it is ultimately a compact car, not a mid-size one.

The car is equipped with numerous luxuries and interior features that provide numerous options for front and rear passengers and the driver, making the journey enjoyable.

The cabin is available with various safety features, including front, side, and curtain airbags, an Isofix child seat anchor system, a tire pressure monitoring system, and ABS (Electronic Brake Assist). ESP, Hill Start Assist (HAC), and Blind Spot Monitoring.

It also offers features including: keyless entry, cruise control, rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, a panoramic sunroof, interior lighting, a 16-inch infotainment screen, voice commands – Bluetooth, an electric driver's seat, and a multi-function leather steering wheel.

Some owners have complained that the car's air conditioning isn't strong in the cabin, with hard plastic parts found throughout.

Spare parts for the Zotye T300 are scarce in the local Egyptian market, given the car's relative lack of popularity in the country and its discontinuation shortly after its introduction, with buyers preferring other models. Ultimately, however, spare parts availability may be very limited, with dealers offering fewer exterior parts, while internal engine parts can be replaced with Mitsubishi models.

The car's minimum ground clearance of 180 mm makes it suitable for Egyptian roads and prevents bumps. It also features a MacPherson strut front suspension and a semi-independent torsion-arm rear suspension, both of which provide a smooth ride and good road stability with 17-inch tires.

However, some owners have reported that the car has a problem with its shock absorbers, which can be remedied by installing shock absorbers from other Hyundai models, a matter that hasn't been widely confirmed.

The Zotye T300 is considered a rare car in the used car market in Egypt and has almost no presence in the resale market. Many Zotye followers confirm that the car was never offered in the local market, which contradicts the fact that the car was offered by the agent and its price changed. However, the problem with the car may be that the agent did not achieve strong promotion for it, and it did not achieve sales at all, given the large number of Zotye models available. This caused confusion and disarray for buyers, with the focus on a few specific models and the neglect of models such as the T300, which has almost no presence in the resale market in Egypt.

However, it cannot be denied that the car was offered at a reasonable price, with numerous features and adequate engine power. However, its most significant drawbacks were its unattractive design, the low value of the Zotye brand, the discontinuation of the agent in Egypt, and the discontinuation of the parent company abroad, which made it difficult for its cars to spread in Egypt due to the difficulty of continuity.
