Expert: Average Prices of Mainstream Used Cars in Egypt Range Between EGP 400,000 and EGP 500,000
Used Car Prices in Egypt Start from EGP 100,000
Khaled Saad, an automotive expert in Egypt and Secretary General of the Egyptian Automobile Manufacturers Association, stated during a television interview that the Egyptian used car market offers vehicles to suit a wide range of budgets.
He noted that the used car prices start at EGP 100,000 to EGP 150,000 for vehicles aimed at entry-level buyers.

Saad added that the most commonly purchased and widely available used cars in the market typically fall within the EGP 400,000 to EGP 500,000 price range.
He explained that used car prices vary considerably depending on several factors, including:
- Model year
- Vehicle specifications
- Overall condition
- Mileage
- Accident history
- Other factors affecting the vehicle’s value
Used Car Prices Have Declined Compared to Previous Levels
Saad noted that these factors can sometimes result in a used vehicle being priced higher than a brand-new car, particularly if it offers superior specifications and features compared to some newer models.
He also said that used car prices in Egypt have improved and declined compared to previous market conditions.
