Part of Egypt’s Efforts to Clear Backlogged Goods
The auction is part of the Egyptian government’s ongoing initiative to dispose of abandoned and long-stored goods at the country’s ports, customs warehouses, storage yards, and depots.
The objective is to transform Egyptian ports into transit gateways rather than long-term storage facilities, improving efficiency and reducing congestion across the country’s customs infrastructure.
