During June, the Egyptian automotive market welcomed a number of all-new models making their debut in Egypt, alongside familiar vehicles that received major updates, including facelift versions or new powertrain options. These launches spanned multiple vehicle segments and brands.
BMW iX3 Neue Klasse EV Launched in Egypt
Global Auto, the official BMW importer in Egypt, introduced the BMW iX3 Neue Klasse electric SUV to the Egyptian market as a 2026 model .
The vehicle is offered in a single 50 xDrive trim equipped with a 108.7 kWh battery, delivering a driving range of up to 805 km, and is priced at EGP 4.9 million.
The iX3 features a fully electric powertrain based on BMW’s sixth-generation eDrive technology, powered by two electric motors producing a combined 469 hp and 645 Nm of torque.
Performance figures include:
- 0–100 km/h in 4.9 seconds
- Top speed of 210 km/h
- xDrive all-wheel-drive system
The 108.7 kWh battery provides a WLTP driving range between 678 km and 805 km.
Charging capabilities include:
- 400 kW DC fast charging
- Up to 372 km of range added in 10 minutes
- Charging from 10% to 80% in 21 minutes
- Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability for powering external devices
Abou Ghaly Motors Introduces Linktour Brand and Alumi EV in Egypt
Abou Ghaly Motors announced the launch of Linktour, a new automotive brand entering the Egyptian market for the first time. The brand specializes in compact electric vehicles.
The company also revealed that it will establish a dedicated dealer network, service centers, and after-sales support for Linktour vehicles in Egypt.
The first model introduced is the Alumi, which utilizes sustainable technologies based on a recycled aluminum supply chain, significantly reducing environmental impact while improving safety and performance.
The Alumi is available in L6e and L7e variants.
Built around Linktour’s unique design philosophy, both models feature distinctive styling while offering practical solutions designed to reduce the stress of urban driving.
Soueast S08 DM Arrives in Egypt
MAN East, the official Soueast distributor in Egypt, launched the Soueast S08 DM , a new seven-seat hybrid SUV, in the Egyptian market for the first time.
The vehicle comes with:
- 6-year / 150,000 km vehicle warranty (whichever comes first)
- 8-year / 160,000 km battery warranty (whichever comes first)
- 4 years or 60,000 km of free scheduled maintenance (whichever comes first)
