The previous generation of the Toyota Corolla was launched globally in 2013, which is the eleventh generation of this model. This generation received an improved version in 2017, which included some minor improvements to the interior. The car remained available in Egypt until the new generation of the car was launched in Egypt as a 2020 model, and it was offered in Egypt starting with the 2014 models.

The eleventh generation of the Toyota Corolla is available in Egypt as 2018 models, with prices starting from 317,000 EGP for the first category (Basic), 357,000 EGP for the second category (Standard), 416,000 EGP for the third category (Full Option), and 467,000 EGP for the fourth category (Highline).

In July 2019, the car was introduced as a 2019 model, with an increase of EGP 2,000 to EGP 4,000 for all trims. The prices of the four trims after the increase were as follows: EGP 321,000 for the Basic trim, EGP 361,000 for the Standard trim, EGP 418,000 for the Full Option trim, and EGP 469,000 for the Full Option trim.

Like the other Corolla models, the car features comfort, safety, luxury, power, and a spacious interior. It also features a sporty appearance and a strong body, with a trunk that can accommodate a decent amount of luggage, making it suitable for long trips.

It also offers better response and faster reactions when changing driving style, such as when climbing a hill or suddenly accelerating, and there are no engine complaints.

The car also has a Sport Mode button next to the gearbox, which makes the car feel sporty while simultaneously increasing fuel consumption and enhancing the car's stability on the road.

The car also consumes approximately 6 liters per 100 km, making it good in fuel consumption. Higher fuel consumption is also better due to the electronic fuel injection feature.

The car's performance is considered traditional for families and traditional driving and is not suitable for thrill-seeking drivers. The CVT transmission also provides smooth, imperceptible shifts, making the car enjoyable to drive.

The car's insulation is also good, but wind noise starts to appear at high speeds.

The interior cabin's only drawback is the use of plastic in the cabin.
