Skoda Superb 2008 - 2015 Review

The car is powered by a 1.4-liter, 4-cylinder, TSI turbo engine with 125 hp at 4,500 rpm and a 6-speed manual transmission. This small-capacity engine delivers fuel economy and good performance when paired with a turbocharger. However, the car was initially available in Egypt with a manual transmission only, which was inconsistent with this luxury segment. Later, it was available with a smaller, 1.8-liter, 7-speed DSG turbo engine. This engine has a top speed of 201 km/h and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.5 seconds. Fuel consumption is 6.6 liters per 100 km.

The car is 4.838 meters long, 1.817 meters wide, and 1.462 meters high. It has a wheelbase of 2.761 meters, making it a large car with a spacious interior, which, by all accounts, provides a great deal of comfort for both the driver and passengers, with ample legroom for both the driver and rear passengers.

It also features fabric upholstery and floor mats. The car was built on a long wheelbase to provide ample interior and exterior space. The rear passenger compartment is also very spacious.

The cabin features a storage box in the dashboard, a box behind the gearshift, and armrests for the front passengers. It also provides a clock and temperature display for the rear passengers. The car is also equipped with wide seats and manually controlled headrests. The steering wheel is well-proportioned, with a well-coordinated cabin equipped with an LED screen, a radio, a 6-disc touchscreen CD player, and dual-zone climate control.

Spare parts for the car are considered expensive, just like other modern Skoda parts, but they are also durable. It's difficult to find spare parts for cars like the Superb outside of dealerships, except in a limited number of locations. German and Czech spare parts are generally expensive, but they are durable and therefore relatively affordable.

The Superb is front-wheel drive and has ESP (dynamic stability control), ABS (anti-lock brakes), EBD (electronic brake assist), and BAS (electric traction control system), along with TSA (traction stability control), which is used for sporty driving or towing another vehicle.

The Superb is a rare and good car, but its high price for a second generation model from 2010 to 2015 in Egypt, and its availability with a manual transmission, makes some people prefer other cars with more amenities at the same price, such as the Octavia High Line, which has more amenities. The disadvantage of the car is that the manual version is considered good in price, but the automatic version is very expensive, as it was offered in 2010 at a price of 400,000 pounds. The car does not have a large demand in the used market or a large presence for it in this generation, unlike the greater interest and spread of the car in the current year.
