Renault Fluence 2011 - 2016 Review

The car features a 1600cc, 16-valve, 4-cylinder gasoline engine with 110 hp, in addition to another engine with the same specifications but with 115 hp. The car is available in Egypt in five trim levels, including one manual trim with the first engine and four CVT automatic trim levels with the more powerful engine. It also comes with a 60-liter fuel tank.

The car can accelerate to 100 km/h in 11.9 seconds, and the engine provides a more comfortable drive in cities due to its easy response and better fuel consumption, consuming 6.4 liters per 100 km. The car has front-wheel drive and reaches a top speed of approximately 180 km/h.

The steering wheel and instrument panel are designed with good cabin colors and chrome accents. It also features efficient digital air conditioning in the front, separate air conditioning vents in the rear, and electric windows and side mirrors.

Car spare parts are somewhat expensive, especially some exterior parts like wipers, but they are durable. There is also a lack of availability of spare parts outside the dealership, but there are some Renault specialists who can provide spare parts for the car outside the dealership.

The car features advanced suspension systems that provide comfort on the road, allowing the car to handle potholes and bumps well, and achieve acceptable levels of acceleration and maneuverability on the road. The car's suspension isn't dry, but there are cars that do better in this regard.

The suspension technology isn't modern compared to other cars in its class, but the car's stability isn't bad considering its width, weight, and chassis width. Based on user experiences, it can handle files well and steadily at high speeds.

The car is considered one of the models that has achieved good popularity in the Egyptian market, which favors sedans. The car's resale price is good in the market due to its widespread popularity and continued demand. However, it has declined after the car was discontinued in Egypt in 2016. However, there are many comparisons to the Blancor Shark, and the latter is preferred due to its better resale price.

The car is characterized as a spacious family car with a good design, comfortable travel, and many safety features, equipment, and luxuries. However, this car is not suitable for those who desire higher performance due to its engine. The car's resale value is better than other Renault cars, especially the Megane, which does not have a strong resale value in the market. However, the Fluence is better than other Renault cars, except for the Logan, in terms of resale value, although it remains lower than Japanese and Korean models.
