Response is poor, and the engine isn't as dynamic and requires more pressure. Therefore, you need to press the accelerator harder to achieve good performance in economical driving modes. However, in sporty driving mode, performance improves slightly.

The car's performance is average and considered economical and fuel-efficient. The transmission is traditional, reliable, and economical, with a 4-speed automatic. Performance is average, but tends to be slow in economy mode. It is successful in saving fuel even with the air conditioning on, whether in cities or on highways.

The storage spaces inside the car are large, distinctive, and varied. The trunk is spacious, holding up to 448 liters, and the rear seats can be folded to increase storage space.

The interior features a European-style design with sporty touches, such as red indicators and good closure through a combination of leather and plastic. The quality of the closure is good, and the infotainment screen provides easy response and is large in size. It has phone connectivity, voice control, and Apple CarPlay functions. The lack of Android Auto is a drawback.

The engine noise insulation system isn't the best, and it's clearly visible in the interior, which disturbs occupants. Sound insulation from outside noise is excellent, but it needs improvement. Engine noise, wind noise, and suspension noise are also audible inside the car.

The MG ZS offers a distinctive and comfortable driving position. Sitting in the high seats gives you a better view of the road, so the driving position is elevated, but without the sensation of being elevated. Large glass areas provide clear visibility, but the wide pillars at the bottom may obstruct visibility. The interior seats are good and can accommodate the driver, despite the lack of a sunroof.

The audio system isn't powerful, despite the car's six speakers.

Spare parts for the MG ZS are readily available at dealerships, as Mansour Automotive has been operating in Egypt and has been offering the car to the local market without interruption since 2018. Spare parts and maintenance prices are moderate, making it not the most expensive MG car in Egypt.

Imported spare parts are also readily available at dealerships, given the car's widespread availability. This has led to spare parts being made available outside the dealership, along with widespread maintenance outside the dealership.

Crossover vehicles generally have a high ground clearance, which is ideal for Egyptian roads, and the Chinese MG ZS boasts this.

The hydraulic steering maneuvers the car well and provides easy parking. It is also somewhat heavy, which makes the car safe during fast driving. It is isolated from the front wheels and is precise in normal driving, not sporty driving.

It represents value for money, sitting between low-priced Chinese cars and high-priced European cars, boasting good quality, high ground clearance, interior amenities, and family-friendly features.

The MG ZS is considered one of the cars with a strong resale market in Egypt. The 2021 and 2022 models are the most popular, followed by the 2020 models. It is among the SUVs that are currently in demand for purchase and resale, especially given the car's continued availability in the Egyptian market and the presence of its agent, Al-Mansour Automotive.

The car boasts multiple safety features, most notably anti-lock brakes, electronic brake force distribution, hill-start assist, traction control, and an active tire pressure monitoring system with a rear camera and sensors to help the driver park the car. هناك عددا من التجهيزات الضرورية لا تتيحها إم جي لعملائها بالسيارة ZS ومنها نظامى Android Auto، كما أنها لا توفر حساسات ركن الخلفية بالفئة الأولى كما ينقصها تكييف أوتوماتيك وفتحة سقف ودخول بدون مفتاح.
