Kia Grand Cerato 2019 - 2021 Review

The 2019 Kia Grand Cerato is powered by the same engine as the previous generation, a 1.6-liter, 4-cylinder engine that produces 130 hp at 6,300 rpm and 155 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. Power is delivered to the front wheels via a 6-speed GDI automatic transmission. This storage space is good and among the largest in its class, increasing with the rear bench folded down. Legroom is also adequate, and the transmission tunnel is low, allowing the rear bench to easily accommodate three passengers.

The car's cabin has also seen a significant reduction in noise levels, with good sound insulation, providing excellent insulation even at medium speeds, and a clear airflow at high speeds.

The cabin features a new seat design that provides comfort for the driver and passengers, especially on long journeys. The driver's seat height can be adjusted, and there's a three-spoke, leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel that controls many functions, such as the audio system with AUX and USB. A rearview camera is also available to assist the driver with parking, and the engine can be started and stopped without a key. The car's interior design can be considered European and modern.

The interior design is distinct, with a new design for the control panel, gauges, steering wheel, and even the seats themselves, with higher-quality interior materials. The car also comes with a new, large 8-inch screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. When a smartphone is connected to the car, the phone is displayed on the large screen, especially with voice command systems.

As for the driver, the driving position is low and sporty, and all functions are easy to access. The dashboard tilts toward the driver, and the driver's seat can be adjusted and raised for better visibility. There is also a sunroof.

The car's drawback is that the highest trim comes with non-digital air conditioning, which is air conditioning with fabric upholstery, without the leather upholstery option, and without power seat adjustment.

There are usually no problems with maintenance and spare parts for the Kia Grand Cerato car, as they are well available, and there are no complaints about the lack of availability of spare parts for the car, but its price is certainly not cheap, as the car is considered a modern model, and it is characterized by the availability of spare parts and their spread in all places due to the widespread use of the car, and it is also characterized by the availability of many service and maintenance centers.

The current generation of the Grand Cerato is more stable than the previous generation and has proven more reliable at high speeds and during maneuvers. It can be argued that the Grand Cerato's European image and lack of safety features have limited its popularity. It can also be argued that previous Cerato models were more popular, especially in some previous generations. However, the car still maintains its resale value because the Cerato is considered a distinctive car with great value and reliability, which creates a good image that doesn't significantly decrease its value upon resale.

Many modern safety features and systems, such as blind spot monitoring, lane keeping, and other features, are also missing.
