Hyundai Verna Viva cars were introduced in Egypt as 2008 and 2009 models, which are considered the most popular models. The car was introduced in Egypt as an Indian product. Known simply as the Viva, Verna Viva, or the Indian Verna, the car's specifications are similar to the regular Hyundai Verna.
The car was first displayed in Egypt at the Automech 2007 exhibition at the Hyundai pavilion. It belongs to the small sports saloon category, with prominent design lines, especially at the front, with large C-shaped taillights. Straight, streamlined lines extend from the rear along the sides of the car, including the protrusions in the doors for protection in the event of a collision, ending at the front, which features large taillights and a front grille bearing the Hyundai logo.
The Verna Viva is an older version of the Verna models known in Egypt. The Verna, known in Egypt, is considered the newer version of this car, but its introduction in Egypt was an attempt to capitalize on the Verna's popularity by offering a newer model that would garner greater demand. It was offered in Egypt with smaller engines than the regular Verna and at a lower price.
When it was launched in Egypt, its price was EGP 65,500 for the category. The regular model comes with air conditioning and power steering, while the full model comes with air conditioning, power steering, an original Hyundai cassette player, power windows, power mirrors, and a central locking system.
Many Verna Viva owners believe it handles better than the Egyptian Verna, even though it has a lower engine and power.
