The DFSK Eagle 580 was first unveiled in Egypt in 2017 by National Motors, the company's agent in Egypt. It's an SUV with seating for seven passengers in three rows. The Eagle 580 features a European design based on the dimensions of traditional SUVs. It was first introduced in Egypt with prices starting at EGP 335,000 for the Comfort trim and EGP 350,000 for the full Luxurious trim. In 2021, it was introduced with a new facelift and a single Luxurious trim, instead of two, before the Comfort trim returned. The Eagle 580's exterior features a powerful front end design, which the company says is inspired by the face of a lion. This is complemented by wide sporty bumpers and a black front fascia. The wheels are 17-inch aluminum. The company maintained a functional design that is comfortable to drive, while still maintaining the car's agility. At the rear, there's a distinctive SUV design with dual C-shaped taillights that extend to the side edges of the car.
The design is clearly influenced by Asian and European design styles, thanks to its partnerships with French, Korean, and Japanese companies. This results in a sleek and highly desirable overall appearance. The exterior features some aesthetic touches, clearly visible in the design of the headlights and the lines that give the car a sporty look, enhanced by the elegant wheels, large glass fascia, and roofline that starts high at the front and gradually descends to the rear.
It's worth noting that the Eagle 580 is inspired by the Nissan Pathfinder. The Eagle 580 was named the Best 7-Seater Car of 2019 in Egypt, and was also named Best 7-Seater SUV at the Car of the Year Egypt Awards.
In 2020, the car received a Sport Edition, a sportier version with an updated design. Its sporty touches are evident in the bumpers, dual exhaust tips, and sporty interior upgrades.
