Changan CS 55 2020 - 2022 Review

The car is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine producing 156 hp and 225 Nm of torque, mated to a conventional 6-speed automatic transmission with front-wheel drive.

Engine performance is average, suitable for family driving. Acceleration is difficult at lower speeds, but it improves at higher speeds, where performance improves and the engine unleashes power and torque at higher engine speeds. Acceleration is average, reaching approximately 13 seconds.

The transmission isn't powerful when starting the car, but performance improves as the car speeds up. The car's transmission is traditional and devoid of technology. It shifts smoothly, but it doesn't shift quickly or respond sharply. The transmission is designed for travel and family driving, even in Sport mode.

The car is fairly fuel-efficient, consuming 8 liters per 100 km. Approximately, and it may increase in some cases, but it remains a good fuel economy.

The rear space is generous, both legroom and headroom, with ample storage space.

The car has a large panoramic sunroof that connects the front and rear of the car.

The car features red accents inside and on the seats.

Ultimately, the car is a very comfortable family car with ample storage space, fuel economy, strong air conditioning, and good safety features.

Spare parts for the car are not widely available and are available at an average level at the agency and less so outside of it from specific dealers. They are not widely distributed because the car has not yet achieved strong popularity due to its newness in the Egyptian market and its above-average prices.

The car's ground clearance is 190 mm, so it has a high suspension that avoids bumps and road imperfections. The suspension also leans toward the comfortable side, absorbing knocks and bumps at various speeds without feeling road imperfections.

Straight-line stability is good, but body roll is noticeable during sharp maneuvers, quick turns, and over air bumps due to the soft, not dry, suspension.

The Changan CS55 is a very comfortable family car with ample storage space, good fuel consumption, strong air conditioning, and good safety features. Although it doesn't offer sporty performance or many features, it is a car that is considered value for money. However, its resale market is neither strong nor average, but rather much lower and is considered very weak because the car has not yet achieved widespread popularity and has not gained much appeal in a category crowded with cars that have proven their strength in the market.

Second class 

Comes with the same equipment and adds:

The car needs more safety features and more airbags in all classes, not in a graded manner.

ويعيب السيارة عدم توفر بعض التجهيزات المهمة في السيارة مثل الشاحن اللاسلكي كما أن شاشة السيارة تقليدية ولكن سريعة الاستجابة وتتوفر بنظام بدائي بعض الشيء بدون أبل كار بلاي وأندرويد أوتو كما لا يوجد كراسي كهربائية أو تكييف رقمي .
