Brilliance H530 2011-2013

The Brilliance H530 was briefly known in Egypt as a mid-size sedan replacing the Splendor. The beautifully designed car was imported from abroad. Its journey in Egypt was short-lived, and its most popular models were the 2013 model. It was first introduced in Egypt in 2011. The car was removed from the Egyptian market and did not last long before the company considered bringing it back to the local market in 2022 with some exterior updates. This resurgence has already been achieved. The Chinese car is manufactured with technology and support from BMW, as the German company shares many components and technologies with Brilliance. The car has a distinctive design inspired by BMW models, and it is believed that the car's design is highly focused on the human element. The car was introduced in Egypt in 2011 as follows:

- Manual EGP 130,000.

- Automatic, first category EGP 148,000.

- Automatic, full option EGP 156,000.

The car's price at the time of its launch was considered surprising by everyone, and it was deemed too high compared to the availability of competing Korean cars that were more popular and resold at a better price.

In 2012, the Chinese government provided Egypt with 150 H530 police vehicles due to the car's technical capabilities, including its engine and suspension, which enable it to operate under extreme driving conditions for extended periods, in addition to its safety features.

The car is powered by a 1600cc, 4-cylinder, 16-valve engine with front-wheel drive in Egypt, producing 118 hp and 151 Nm of torque. It comes with a 5-speed manual or automatic transmission. It achieves a fuel consumption of 7.5 liters per 100 km, accelerating to 100 km/h in 13 seconds and a speed of between 171 and 178 km/h.

Despite the claims that it has lower fuel consumption than cars in its class, this is considered average, not low. The fuel tank also holds 55 liters. The car's engine performance isn't strong; as we can see, acceleration is limited to 13 seconds. Therefore, many competitors perform better than it. It can be said that it leans toward the family side at the expense of power and acceleration, which is natural for a car that targets families more.

The car is 4,708 mm long, 1,788 mm wide, 1,475 mm high, and has a wheelbase of 2,700 mm. The car also has a 520-liter trunk, providing comfortable space for three passengers in the back. The car weighs 1,290 kg for the manual transmission and 1,340 kg for the automatic.

The car has a dynamic design, and seating inside gives passengers a sense of comfort and security. At the same time, this car has 20 empty storage spaces inside, along with a suitable rear storage space.

The car's materials contain a lot of plastic, which is considered a drawback, but it's not cheap. The car also offers ample storage space and comfortable seats, especially in the rear, allowing passengers to comfortably accommodate their legs due to the spaciousness of the car.

The car's ground clearance is 120 mm, which makes it somewhat suitable, but it is definitely affected by bumps because the ground clearance is not very high.

The car's drawback is its very limited resale value due to its lack of popularity in Egypt. Therefore, the available model is very limited in the market. Those who own a copy of it struggle to resell it due to the low demand for it compared to other models from Brilliance that are better known and in better demand. As for the Korean car competitors in the market, the demand for them is very high compared to this car, which did not have a chance to compete with these models in the past, with the difficulty of achieving more good results in the upcoming 2023 models due to the weakness of the agent in Egypt.

ويعيب السيارة أن نظام الترفيه فيها بسيط بدون شاشات مع محدودية وسائل الترفيه والكماليات المتوفرة لها مع عدم وجود تعديل كهربائي للمقاعد وعدد آخر من الخيارات المتوفرة في سيارات عديدة بالوقت الحالي.
