Hyundai Getz 2002 - 2011 Review

The car is powered by an 1100cc GSI engine that produces 65 hp at 5,500 rpm and 96 Nm of torque at 3,200 rpm. It is mated to a manual transmission. Fuel consumption is rated at 3.7 liters per 61.6 km. This engine was available in the 2004 and 2005 models. The car was also offered with a 1300cc engine.

In subsequent years, a 1600cc, 4-cylinder engine with 105 hp was also available, the same engine used in the Verna and Matrix models. The engine was also available with a 4-speed automatic or 4-speed manual transmission, and a 45-liter fuel tank.

Among the drawbacks, the gear lever is in a poor position, and the insulation is poor due to the engine's power compared to the car's size. The engine noise may rise above the radio at high speeds.

The car is easy to maintain and its spare parts are available in Korean and Chinese and are cheaper because the engine used in the car is found in many other Hyundai cars such as the Verna and Matrix.
