Zotye Z560 Car Review

The car comes with a Mitsubishi MIVEC 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 150 hp at 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 200 Nm between 2,000 and 4,400 rpm. It is mated to a six-speed automatic CVT transmission. Average fuel consumption is approximately 7.4 liters per 100 km. The car also has a 55-liter fuel tank.

The car comes with a conventional transmission, which is suitable for a practical car, not a high-performance vehicle. The engine's performance is also suitable for a traditional family car, not a youth car, and it is not expected to deliver high performance, which is normal in this class, given its average fuel consumption.

The car is 4750 mm long, 1810 mm wide, 1490 mm high, with a wheelbase of 2750 mm. The curb weight is 1415 kg.

Inside, the cabin has been completely redesigned, featuring new technical equipment and a new design for the instrument panel and center console. The infotainment system also features a larger screen and new air conditioning button designs.

The Z560 is equipped with all standard safety features, such as airbags and an anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution. It also features a keyless entry system, a push-button start, and an information system that supports map displays and GPS navigation.

The car features spacious interior spaces in the front, comfortable for the driver and front passenger, with easy and comfortable entry into the back seat. There's plenty of space between the seats in the back and front, comfortable for passengers and knees, and the sofa comfortably accommodates three people. The rear sofa has a center armrest, and no rear ventilation vents.

The front console is traditional with black piano trim. The seats are fairly comfortable, and there are leather accents on the steering wheel and doors, along with plenty of plastic parts on the dashboard and doors.

The trunk capacity is over 400 liters, but the high loading lip makes loading difficult, and the space for inserting bags into the trunk is also small.

The Zotye Z560 is considered one of the rare cars in Egypt, which is clearly reflected in its rare spare parts availability in Egypt, as many Zotye owners confirm in general the difficulty of finding spare parts for the car, especially the external parts, which are difficult to find an alternative for. However, the mechanical parts can be found from Mitsubishi alternatives, because the engine is Mitsubishi, and the rest is imported from abroad or from very limited dealers, and it requires research and an attempt by Zotye owners to find out where spare parts are available, as their prices are not considered simple.

The car is considered somewhat suitable for Egyptian roads, with a ground clearance of 159 mm, which makes it suitable for handling bumps on Egyptian roads.

The car also relies on a McPherson strut front suspension and an independent rear suspension, which makes it a quiet and suitable ride for a mid-size sedan intended to compete with cars like the Hyundai Sonata, Peugeot 508, and Skoda Superb.

The car also features electric power steering and 17-inch wheels, which ensures a stable ride.

The Zotye Z560 is rarely found in the used and resale market in Egypt due to its limited availability, especially given its presence in a segment that is already relatively uncommon in Egypt: the mid-size sedan, such as the Hyundai Sonata. This segment is less popular than the compact sedan segment, which includes the Hyundai Elantra, for example. It is one of the most popular sedan segments, along with small sedan segments like the Hyundai Verna and Nissan Sunny.

Therefore, given the difficulty of achieving sales in this segment in Egypt, and the fact that the car was under a Chinese dealership and was new to the market at the time of its introduction, Chinese cars had not yet established themselves strongly, in addition to the fact that the dealership itself was new, it was difficult for the car to achieve strong sales, especially given the closure of the dealership in Egypt and the parent company abroad due to bankruptcy after a short period.
