The Saweast Crystal model was introduced in Egypt for a while as a 2014 model by Wamco Motors. The car was first introduced in Egypt in 2014. This car is very similar to Mitsubishi cars from the 1990s and early 2000s. Despite not adapting to Chinese cars at the time of its introduction, this car received significant attention due to its resemblance to the beloved Lancer models. It is a mid-size family sedan, characterized by solidity, flexibility, safety, and outstanding performance.

The car features a Mitsubishi MIVEC L4 aluminum DOHC 16-valve engine with a capacity of 1500 cc, producing 120 hp at 6000 rpm and 143 Nm of torque at 4000 rpm, with a fuel consumption of 5.8 liters per 100 km with a 50-liter fuel tank. The car also comes with a Mitsubishi 5-speed manual or Steptronic automatic CVT transmission with manual driving mode. The transmission provides smooth driving and acceleration, but it doesn't respond well to hard gas pedal pressure except in manual mode.

Although the car is Chinese, the Japanese engine and transmission gave it confidence in Egypt at the time of its launch, as it was considered a cheaper alternative to the Lancer in the country. Several users reported that there were no obvious defects in the engine or transmission, and that the car's performance was good in terms of power and acceleration, with a slight shudder in the automatic transmission in the first three gears, which subsided over time, according to users.

The automatic version can accelerate to 100 km/h in 12.1 seconds with front-wheel drive and a top speed of 185 km/h.
