The Great Wall C30 is a compact sedan manufactured by the Chinese company Great Wall, starting in 2010 and ending production in 2016. It was offered as a four-door sedan only. It is the first small family car from the Chinese company Great Wall, and it is also the company's first sedan model.

The Bavarian Auto Group, Great Wall's agent at the time, launched the car in Egypt in 2012. The car came in a manual version priced at EGP 75,900, with no automatic version available. It continued until 2015. Its price increased to EGP 81,000 in 2013, and subsequent price increases reached EGP 106,000.

The car doesn't seem to cause many problems, which isn't surprising, as its engine is said to be from Toyota or Mitsubishi, but it ultimately uses Japanese technology.

The car's design gives a good impression, thanks to its excellent exterior design. Although there are no particularly extravagant features, the overall design meets the aesthetics required for a car well, giving it a comfortable and natural feel, sufficient for a small family car. The C30's appearance doesn't appear overly distinctive, nor does it have any over-the-top touches, but the overall design is in keeping with the prevailing design trends of the period, giving it a sense of natural comfort.

The C30's full, rounded rear end, and the two lines on the engine further distinguish the car. The chrome-plated, inverted trapezoidal grille, and the overall style of the headlights, are also present.

The car is powered by a 1500cc, 4-cylinder, 16-valve engine with electronic fuel injection, producing 105 hp at 6000 rpm and 138 Nm of torque at 4200 rpm. It is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission with front-wheel drive and a 40-liter fuel tank. The car's top speed is 175 km/h. The car is equipped with the same engine and transmission as the Toyota Yaris. Recently, it has been available in the Egyptian market in both automatic and full-option versions.

Despite some concerns about the car's 1500cc engine, given its 1600cc engine dominance, the engine delivers excellent performance and features VVT technology, which improves the car's performance and towing efficiency while reducing fuel consumption. It's the same Toyota engine, but manufactured by Great Wall.

The Great Wall C30 is considered a fuel-efficient car, achieving 5.6 liters per 100 km, making it economical in terms of running costs.

The 1.5-liter engine delivers 105 horsepower, which is impressive for a vehicle weighing less than 1200 kg.

The car measures 4,452 mm in length, 1,705 mm in width, and 1,480 mm in height, with a 2,610 mm wheelbase, which also ensures good interior space. It has a gross weight ranging between 1,125 and 1,145 kg. The trunk capacity is a decent 510 liters, which can be increased by folding the rear seats. The Chinese sedan looks very decent in terms of interior design and can satisfy the following: The car's cabin is spacious and distinctive, and can seat five people, with many good features. Interior build quality. Comfortable seats with lateral support. Good finishing materials. Sufficient amount of free space. Ample luggage storage space. In addition, it's worth noting that the rear row of seats comfortably accommodates three adult passengers.

Spare parts for the Great Wall C30 are scarce and available at moderate prices. Maintenance requires someone with automotive knowledge. Alternatives include the 2007 Toyota Corolla engine, transmission parts for the 2008 Toyota Corolla with a 1600 cc engine, and suspension parts for the Toyota Yaris.

Spare parts prices for the car were high when it was first new compared to other Chinese cars in its class, which makes them expensive even today, but their availability is limited.
