Canghe Q35 2018 - 2022 Review

The Changan Q35 was introduced in Egypt with a 1.5-liter, non-turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 116 hp and 148 Nm of torque in the first trim, mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. The second trim was also offered with a 1.5-liter, 160 hp engine. The second engine was not used, and the car was replaced with the first, which delivers fuel economy of 6.8 liters per 100 km, with a top speed of 160 km/h. The car weighs 1,600 kg (including a payload).

Some owners have complained about slow engine start-up, especially when the engine is first starting. However, thereafter, the car's acceleration improves, and it doesn't offer sporty performance, but it does offer reliable, traditional performance without any issues. There's no under-engine armor, but the hood is insulated.

The car's overall performance is good, with no complaints about the engine or transmission. Performance is normal and traditional, suitable for a compact crossover, and improves in the sporty driving mode. Its only issue, as we explained, is the slow start and assembly. The car also has a slippery terrain mode.

The Changan Q35 measures 4286 mm in length, 1815 mm in width, 1665 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2519 mm. The car has a youthful interior design featuring special air vents with the Changan logo, gray seats, and a host of technologies on the dashboard, including a large, raised screen and AUX and USB ports in an unsightly panel below the screen.

There is manual air conditioning with one zone, not two, and small front storage spaces in the center console. There is a front armrest with a small storage space below it. The steering wheel is adjustable in two directions, with plastic materials on the dashboard and many leather touches. Brown.

The overall cabin is spacious and comfortable, with good seat materials and plastic trim, which is appropriate for its price range. Leather trim is also present in areas where hands can reach it. The interior design is youthful, somewhat sporty, and not off-putting, with simple, limited equipment.

Spare parts for the Changan Q35 are scarce in Egypt, especially given its limited availability and disappearance from the market. This has reduced the availability of spare parts locally outside of dealerships. However, spare parts are more readily available at dealerships, are reasonably priced, and are difficult to obtain outside of dealerships.

The car is reliable and has few problems, according to owners so far. However, it suffered from a manufacturing defect when it was first introduced in 2018, including an airbag strap issue, a steering wheel electrical problem, and a horn issue. The issue was fixed at the dealership, although some still suffer from it.

The Changan Q35 comes with a McPherson strut front suspension and a torsion beam rear suspension. It offers good road stability up to medium speeds of 150 km/h, after which the car's stability decreases. The car moves flexibly and smoothly on the road, with good ground clearance, making it suitable for Egyptian roads.

Resale of the Changan Q35 is very weak in Egypt. The car didn't achieve widespread popularity, primarily due to the limited period in which it was introduced, and because the agent isn't a big name like Ghabbour Auto, Al-Mansour Auto, or Al-Qasrawy. Marketing didn't receive much attention or attention. Although the car is generally a good and reliable car, it hasn't been introduced to the Egyptian consumer, despite its lower prices than its competitors. Therefore, it's difficult to find used models, and resale is slow.

The car has a strong body and front and rear disc brakes. However, safety features are limited, as there are two airbags in the front only, and none on the sides or knees.

ويعيب السيارة فقدانها العديد من التجهيزات التي تشمل عدم وجود الدخول الذكي للسيارة ولكن بالريموت وعدم توفر زر لتشغيل المحرك أو باب خلفي كهربائي او مسند يد داخلي.
