The report issued by the Egyptian Compulsory Motor Insurance Pool remains one of the closest indicators to the real performance of the Egyptian automotive market, covering vehicle sales and registrations across all categories including passenger cars, trucks, buses, and motorcycles.
The latest report for January 2026 revealed passenger car sales figures by brand and model in Egypt during the past month.
According to the report, a total of 20,122 passenger cars were licensed in January 2026, marking a 7.5% decline compared to December 2025.
Top Three Best-Selling Passenger Car Brands in Egypt
The top three companies in Egypt’s passenger car rankings came as follows:
1- Nissan — 2,199 Passenger Cars Sold
Nissan led the market with total sales of 2,199 passenger cars, including:
