Car enthusiasts in Egypt are preparing for another major automotive auction this January, as the upcoming Port Said Customs Auction is officially set to take place on January 6, 2026.

The auction will include more than 20 passenger cars from various brands and model years, in addition to motorcycle units and vehicle engines. Customs car auctions continue to attract strong attention in the Egyptian market, especially from buyers searching for affordable used cars and resale opportunities.

Port Said Customs Auction Terms and Conditions

The auction supervisory committee confirmed that some vehicles can be licensed for road use, while others are sold without licensing eligibility. The licensing status of each lot is clearly specified in the auction booklet.

Port Said Customs Auction Booklet Price

To participate in the auction, buyers must purchase the official terms and conditions booklet.

  • Booklet Price: EGP 400

  • Sold at: General Authority for Government Services headquarters, Ministry of Finance Towers, Ramses Extension, Tower 2

  • The booklet fee is non-refundable if the participant does not secure any auction lot.

Required Deposit for Participation

The General Authority also announced that participants must pay an insurance deposit before entering the auction.

Participation Requirements

  • Auction Insurance Deposit: EGP 10,000

  • Buyers must immediately pay 30% of the lot value after winning the bid

  • Remaining balance must be settled within 15 days from the auction date
